It connects and supports its members, ensuring they maintain the necessary professional indemnity insurance and registration with relevant certification bodies, including schemes like BASIS, FACTS, and MRPPA.
We offer consultancy, advice, and research services to top growers, produce marketing organizations, and retailers across a wide variety of vegetables, including brassicas, alliums, salads, roots, cucurbits, herbs, legumes, and all protected crops.
The VCA maintains a register of members' specialised skills, allowing for effective targeting of commissioned projects. Members can collaborate and combine their expertise when multi-disciplinary approaches are needed for a single project.
